Chesterfield have secured the services of young midfielder Frankie Artus on a one-month loan from Bristol City.
John Sheridan will include the 21-year-old in his squad for the League Two clash with Northampton at Sixfields on Saturday.
City youth academy product Artus is still to make his first-team debut for the Robins, but has enjoyed previous loan stints with Exeter, Brentford, Kettering and Cheltenham.
Ashton Gate boss Gary Johnson feels that the switch to Saltergate will benefit all parties.
Johnson told his club's official website: "Frankie needs to go out and get some games and this should be a good move for him.
"Chesterfield are doing well in the league at the moment and hopefully Frankie can aid their cause as well as gaining valuable experience."
