Cheltenham Town have agreed a deal with Bristol City to re-sign midfielder Frankie Artus on loan.
Artus finished last season on loan at Whaddon Road and also rejoined the League Two club in August, only for his stint to be cut short by injury.
He has been training with Martin Allen's side this week and the 21-year-old is close to finalising a third spell with Cheltenham.
"We've reached an agreement with Bristol City to sign Frankie Artus," Allen, who hopes to have Artus available to face Macclesfield Town on Friday, told the club's official website.
"He trained with us yesterday and will go into straight into the team for tomorrow night's game.
"Things are looking up on the injury front and hopefully we will have a much stronger side out for this game."
