Nigerian striker Kayode Odejayi has signed a new two-year deal with Cheltenham Town.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a successful campaign with The Robins, scoring 13 goals to help the club into the League Two play-offs, and has been rewarded with a new deal through to 2008.
Odejayi joined Cheltenham from Conference side Forest Green in 2003 and despite having the best season of his career this year, manager John Ward still feels his striker can improve further.
"I'm delighted Kay has agreed to stay with us for another two seasons," said Ward.
"There had been talk about his future by people not connected with Cheltenham Town, but that can now be put to bed.
"I think we have yet to see the best of him and I'm looking forward to working with him and watching him grow further as a player.
"He's a good young player and a good lad and it's a good move for everyone involved."
