Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says his next job is to refocus his jubilant players as they look to lift the Championship title on Saturday.

The Cherries squad were back in training on Wednesday morning having been celebrating promotion to the Premier League and thoughts now turn to the trip to Charlton on Saturday.

Howe's men will win the division if they better Watford's result against Sheffield Wednesday.

"You don't want to forget you have a game to come," he explained. "The first thing is we want to win and we have still got a chance of winning the league, that has to be our aim.

"We've got to try to keep the players focused on that."

Monday night's 3-0 win over Bolton means Howe will now have three promotions on his CV, all with his home-town club, and he admits he still has to pinch himself at his journey from caretaker manager in League Two to the top flight.

"I have huge affection for the football club and to play here was a dream of mine as a kid," he explained. "I managed to achieve that and I was very fortunate to have people who believed I could be a success as a manager here.

"So I feel incredibly grateful to be given the responsibility of the manager of the club.

"This means so much because of our journey together. It has just been a fantastic experience for me personally."
