Bournemouth have appointed Simon Weatherstone as their new first-team coach.
The 33-year-old former Oxford, Boston, Yeovil, Stevenage and Crawley midfielder replaces Chris Hargreaves who was appointed Torquay manager earlier this month.
Weatherstone previously worked alongside Cherries manager Eddie Howe and assistant boss Jason Tindall at Burnley in the role of development coach.
Howe told his club's official website: "Jason and I are very hands on. We are training ground coaches who work with the players, so we wanted someone who would understand that.
"Simon certainly does and we worked with him at Burnley, which means he has that understanding of how we work.
"He knows us both and we felt that was really important. He will support us very well and do a great job."
