Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has praised the qualities of trialist Danny Morrissey as he waits to see what happens next with the Cork City striker.
Irish youngster Morrissey, 20, has spent time training with Howe's squad and scored in a friendly for the reserves against Queens Park Rangers.
He has been linked to a number of other English clubs following a series of fine performances for Cork City, and Howe must now decide whether he wants to pursue his interest in the player when the January transfer window opens.
"We have had a good look and we certainly like him," Howe told the Bournemouth Daily Echo.
"He is a good player and a very good finisher. He did well in the reserve game.
"He scored, worked incredibly hard and showed some good touches. He has gone back to Ireland so we will wait and see what happens."
