Sky Sports understands West Brom are poised to sign former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp on a free transfer.
Camp is available as a free agent after leaving Norwich City earlier this summer.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for his services, but West Brom are set to bring in the 29-year-old as cover for the injured Ben Foster.
West Brom boss Steve Clarke is keen to add to his options after seeing Ben Foster ruled out of action for three months with a stress fracture in his foot.
Camp is thought to have agreed a short-term deal until January to make the move to the Hawthorns.
