Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has no intention of selling Wes Thomas, with his focus locked on bolstering his ranks.
It has been reported that ambitious League One outfit Swindon Town have seen two bids for Thomas knocked back.
The 26-year-old, who spent time on loan at Portsmouth, Blackpool and Birmingham City last season, did appear destined to make a summer move at one stage.
He has, however, been drafted into Howe's plans for 2013/14 and the Cherries boss insists his priority at present is bringing in another frontman - not letting one leave.
Howe told the Daily Echo: "We want to bring in a striker to complement what we have.
"We certainly wouldn't want to be letting one go in a different direction, especially someone who has started the two games for us this season and done well.
"He (Thomas) has put in a couple of good performances. He has worked extremely hard and I think the fans really took to him on Saturday when they saw how much of a shift he put in for the team, and his attitude and commitment to the cause, so long may that continue."
