Bournemouth are in talks with defender Steve Cook over a new deal at Dean Court, Sky Sports understands.
Cook has established himself as a key member of the Bournemouth side since initially arriving on loan from Brighton before making the move permanent in January 2012.
The 22-year-old made 38 appearances last season as he helped Bournemouth win promotion to the Championship.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe is keen to secure most of his squad on new long-term deals to ward off potential suitors and is determined to tie down Cook to a new contract.
Cook still has two years to run on his current deal and he is thought to be happy to pledge his long-term future to the Championship new boys.
