Rotherham striker Lewis Grabban has agreed to join League One's Bournemouth subject to passing a medical.

The forward, who scored 21 goals in all competitions in 2011/12, agreed personal terms with the south coast club on Thursday. Millers boss Steve Evans told the club's official website: "Lewis made it clear that he wanted to move south and we accepted an offer for him this morning (Thursday) from AFC Bournemouth. Following discussions with AFC Bournemouth terms have been agreed and we expect a deal to be concluded shortly. "Lewis has conducted himself in an impeccable manner whilst I have been at this football club. In my opinion he deserves to play at a higher level and I would personally like to wish him luck with his move." Cherries' assistant boss Shaun Brooks told www.afcb.co.uk: "We've followed Lewis' career over the last two or three years, but it really took off last year when he scored a lot of goals. "We've been in talks for about a week, 10 days now with Rotherham and Lewis' agent. Everything has been agreed now, he needs to have a medical and we will have him as part of our squad for pre-season."
