Simon Francis is enjoying his "fresh start" at Bournemouth after a difficult time finding form at League One contenders Charlton.
By his own admission, the centre-back's career was stalling somewhat at Charlton before the chance to swap London for the Dorset coast arrived in November.
Since then, however, the 27-year-old has rediscovered some of his better form and he now reflects on a move well made.
"It's been good. It's been a fresh start for me which was something I needed after the start I had to the season," he said.
"I wasn't being involved at Charlton and for someone of my age it was important for me to get out and be somewhere where I was playing games.
"The manager here has given me the chance to do that and I'm very thankful for that and I'm enjoying being down here."
