Arter: We're bound to succeed

Harry Arter says even if Bournemouth fail to make this year's League One play-offs, the Dorset club will be in the chase again next term.

The Cherries have fallen off the pace in pursuit of a top-six spot this season, and currently lie 12 points off the play-offs with 11 matches of the campaign remaining. While midfielder Arter and his team-mates have not given up hope of clawing back the difference by the season's end, he has pledged Bournemouth will be serious contenders for elevation to the Championship should they fall short this time around. "If we don't manage it this season, next season we can have a right good go at it," he said. "We're still trying to get into the play-offs at the moment and we're not about to start to experiment with teams or formations for next season. "We're concentrating on trying to get into the play-offs, but we will definitely be in a good position for next season if not this year."
