Defender Stephane Zubar has agreed a new three-and-a-half year deal with Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old joined the Cherries in September following a successful trial period, going on to impress manager Lee Bradbury with a number of solid performances at the back. Zubar told the club's official website: "I am very happy here and I am pleased to sign the contract because that's what I wanted. "Bournemouth is the only club I want to be at and I now want to repay the faith shown in me by the club, the manager and the supporters." Bradbury added: "Stephane is a great lad who wants to do well for us and has worked really hard. "He has taken his opportunity really well and he deserves the new contract."
