Norwich boss Paul Lambert hailed his side's performance as they recorded back-to-back away wins in the Premier League after a 2-1 success at West Brom.
Andrew Surman's volley handed the visitors the advantage just before the break but Albion struck back from the penalty spot as Shane Long came off the bench to restore parity.
However, Steve Morison's header sealed victory for City, nodding home 11 minutes from the end at the Hawthorns.
Lambert told
Sky Sports: "The lads have been fantastic. It was there for everybody to see as we defended really strongly and the lads put their bodies on the line. Collectively as a group they've been brilliant."
Don't care
Asked whether he felt his side were rather fortunate to be in the lead at half-time, the Scot replied: "I really don't care.
"I've been involved in many a game when the opposition team have dominated and eventually ending up getting beat, so you make no apologies for it. I thought we were great.
"It's been well documented that we keep going and all credit to the football club and the lads.
"It's only a success if we stay in the league. We have to try and stay in it and we've given ourselves a chance to try and do it but there is an awful long way to go."
