Defender Simon Francis has completed a permanent switch from Charlton Athletic to League One rivals Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old full-back moved to Dean Court on an initial loan deal in November and has so far made nine appearances for Lee Bradbury's side. Francis joined the Addicks from Southend for £35,000 in the summer of 2010 and played 45 times for the club. However, he fell out of favour under manager Chris Powell this season and made just two appearances in the Carling Cup, the last of which came in September.
