Jayden Stockley may not be allowed to extend his loan spell with Accrington, according to Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury.
Stockley claimed his first goal in Stanley colours to snatch a 1-1 draw against Macclesfield for John Coleman's men at last weekend.
The 18-year-old's spell at the Crown Ground is due to expire after Saturday's League Two encounter with Dagenham and, earlier this week, he expressed his desire to stay in Lancashire for the foreseeable future.
However, Bradbury is concerned his side may lack forward cover over the busy Christmas period as Wes Thomas' loan from Crawley is due to expire next month.
He told the Bournemouth Echo: "Wes Thomas can't play for us from December 9 and we might need more options at that time so we will see how Jayden does.
"He has done well so far so, if that continues, we will call him back to be in our squad."
