Pugh: Cherries in high spirits

Bournemouth midfielder Marc Pugh is relishing the good mood among the squad at the moment.

The Cherries' form has improved recently, with manager Lee Bradbury's side taking nine points from their last six games in npower League One - losing just one match in the process. Bournemouth take a fortnight's break from league action now, however, with a Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern section quarter-final at Brentford quickly followed by their FA Cup first round clash with Gillingham. Pugh told the club's official website: "The lads have been looking more confident in training over the last couple of weeks and the squad is coming together nicely. "It's taken time for us to gel but the last couple of games have shown what we are capable of."
