Pugh wants home comforts

Marc Pugh wants Bournemouth to start replicating their away form at home as they bid to move up the table.

The Cherries are unbeaten in five on the road and claimed an emphatic 3-1 win at Preston on Saturday. But Bournemouth's previous half-dozen games on home turf in the league have not ended so well, with five defeats and a draw at the Seward Stadium leaving Lee Bradbury's men in trouble in 18th spot in the division. Midfielder Pugh admits he can't figure out why the south coast outfit are so good away and so poor at home, telling the club's official website: "It's one of those things that can happen and it's hard to put your finger on it. "We know we need to improve results at home, there is no question about that. "If we keep performing though like we did at Colchester (where Bournemouth drew 1-1) and Preston and we can take that into our home form, I don't see why we can't push up the table and go on a good unbeaten run."
