Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury blamed poor finishing after watching his side crash to a fifth home defeat of the season, 2-1 to Bury.
Marc Pugh gave the Cherries the lead just before half-time, but Bury hit back with a goal from Giles Coke on the stroke of half-time and Andy Bishop fired the winner eight minutes later. "Our home form is very disappointing and, after going four matches unbeaten, we wanted to rectify that," Bradbury said. "We started the game well, created some half decent chances and could have been two-up inside the first 15 minutes. "But we let them off the hook through our poor finishing and allowed Bury to get a foothold in the game. Once they got in front, they never looked back." Bournemouth, who should have been four goals up before Pugh eventually scored, were not helped by injuries to the influential Harry Arter and substitute Joe Partington, who had replaced the midfielder. "I was excited about pairing Michael Symes and Wes Thomas up front, but we seemed to play with a bit of fear which grew as we missed those chances," Bradbury added.
