Orient stopper uncertain for start of season

Leyton Orient defender Charlie Daniels has suffered an injury blow ahead of the new season. The left-back, who has recently penned a two-year deal at Brisbane Road, sustained a knee problem in training at the end of last week which could rule him out of the start of the new campaign. Daniels may miss Orient's League One opener at Yeovil, while the injury sidelines him for Wednesday's pre-season friendly at Cray Wanderers. The only other absentee for the friendly is Jonathan Tehoue, who has suffered a hamstring injury. Boss Russell Slade will field two different teams in each half against the Ryman Premier League club.
