Bournemouth have reached an agreement to sign Shrewsbury Town striker Michael Symes on loan.
The 25-year-old will move to Dean Court in a bid to secure first-team football after making only seven appearances for the Shrews this season.
Symes, who began his career at Everton, has scored twice in those outings and Bournemouth boss Jimmy Quinn will hope that regular football brings more goals.
Earlier in the week Quinn revealed he was hoping to secure additional firepower as he looks to improve the Cherries' fortunes.
And he has now got his man after League Two rivals Shrewsbury, who signed Symes from Bradford in 2006, agreed to a temporary deal.
