Bournemouth goalkeeper Kevin Scriven has been given a new one-year contract by the Second Division club.

The Cherries custodian was a regular in the reserves this term and acted as suitable cover for number one Neil Moss after former deputy Gareth Stewart was ruled out for the season with a major knee injury back in December.

Despite the new deal, Dean Court boss Sean O'Driscoll (pictured) is likely to make Scriven third choice again next term, but it is thought the former club trainee will take a loan spell away from the South Coast club to gain more first team experience.

Scriven joins Brian Stock and Neil Young in signing a new contract with Bournemouth this week.
