Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll has opened contract talks with ten first-team players whose contracts expire in the summer.

Neil Young, Stephen Purches, Karl Broadhurst, Shaun Maher, Warren Feeney, Steve Fletcher, Wade Elliott, Garreth O'Connor and James Hayter have all been offered new terms.

In what could potentially be a close-season of departures at Bournemouth, O'Driscoll admits it may be difficult to keep hold of some the club's better players.

''The problem is that the vast majority of them could earn a lot more at other clubs,'' O'Driscoll told the club's official website.

''We have a bunch of players who are highly regarded by other clubs and are in many respects easy pickings.''

Meanwhile, Bournemouth have confirmed that 16-year-old Curtis Allen has not been offered professional terms but has joined the club's youth-team set-up.
