Tindall out for six weeks

Bournemouth have been dealt a blow with the news that Jason Tindall is to be sidelined for six weeks.

The midfielder has just been told that he needs an operation to repair a torn cartilage pad in his right knee.

The 26-year-old met with specialist Adrian Harvey at Poole Harbour hospital earlier in the week and is set to have the operation next Monday.

Tindall has already missed almost two months of the season after a similar operation in October, and will now look to recover and make his return in the New Year.

The Londoner sustained the injury coming on as a substitute in the FA Cup draw against Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
