O'Neill loaned to Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient have signed Burnley defender Luke O'Neill on loan until the end of the season.

It is the right-back's fourth loan spell since signing for the Clarets from Mansfield in 2012. He joins team-mate Alex Cisak, who has made four appearances so far for the O's during his stint. O'Neill, who signed a new two-year deal in the summer, made his Burnley debut in a League Cup tie against Plymouth in 2012 before making a substitute appearance in the Championship later on in that campaign. He has not played since, though, and spent the first part of last season on loan at York, where he scored once in 16 appearances, before a spell at Southend in January 2014 was cut short after he suffered an injury after just 44 minutes. O'Neill played 15 times for Scunthorpe earlier this season, including a 2-1 defeat to Leyton Orient in September.
