Leyton Orient have revealed goalkeeper Ben Alnwick has been granted time off for personal reasons.
The stopper moved to Brisbane Road on a permanent deal at the end of the January transfer window from Charlton and made his debut the following day in a 2-1 loss at Rotherham. However, a statement on the League One club's official website revealed he will now be allowed time away from the team. It read: "Ben Alnwick will be away from the club for a period of time having been signed off on medical grounds. "Alnwick only joined Orient from Charlton last week but a personal situation has arisen in the last few days which is currently preventing him from training or playing matches."
