Adams makes Griffith enquiry

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has made contact with Leyton Orient about the possibility of re-signing midfielder Anthony Griffith.

Griffith, who spent four years in Burslem before joining Orient last summer, came back to the club on loan towards the end of last season and a permanent return could be on the cards. "I've had brief discussions with (Orient manager) Russell Slade but Griff is an Orient player and there's nothing to report at the moment," Adams told the Sentinel. The 26-year-old has a year remaining on his contract with the O's.
