Slade: More games the better

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade expects another tough test of his side's play-off credentials against Preston at the weekend.

The in-form O's are just three points outside the top six after Saturday's thumping 4-1 win over Carlisle. They have taken a maximum nine points from a hectic three games in seven days and now have a break before heading to Deepdale. But Slade joked: "We probably need a game on Tuesday or Wednesday! We seem to do well when the games come thick and fast. "But, in seriousness, it gives us time to draw breath because we've got a really tough game on Saturday against a Preston side that are rejuvenated under Simon Grayson, so it's going to be hard."
