Slade hopeful over Rowlands

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is confident the injury suffered by Martin Rowlands against Crewe is not serious.

Former QPR midfielder Rowlands scored the equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw but was replaced by Jimmy Smith at half-time with a hamstring problem. Slade said: "I had to take him off with a slight hamstring injury. It's not massive but we didn't want to do any more damage and there's no problem sending Jimmy on. "He slotted in there and it didn't upset the balance at all." Rowlands earned Orient a point when he smashed home a right-footed shot in the 19th minute. Slade added: "It was a great goal. He hit it really cleanly from the edge of the box and it went right in the corner."
