Leyton Orient have completed the signing of versatile midfielder Lloyd James from League One rivals Colchester United.

The 24-year-old, who can also play at right-back, was out of contract with the Us and has agreed a two-year deal to become Orient boss Russell Slade's eighth summer signing. "I've been in since the start of pre-season and I've enjoyed my time here, so I'm delighted to get it all sorted," the former Southampton youngster told Orient's official website. "I can play midfield, right back - wherever the manager asks me to play I'm happy to play there." Slade has also signed Gary Sawyer, Anthony Griffith, Mathieu Baudry, Michael Symes, Ryan Allsop, Ryan Brunt and Nathan Clarke as he overhauls his squad following last season's struggle against relegation.
