McCombe blamed for Terriers draw

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark laid the blame on centre-back Jamie McCombe after Leyton Orient fought back to draw 2-2.

McCombe received a straight red card for pushing over George Porter in an off-the-ball incident six minutes from time. Town were 2-0 up and cruising but, reduced to 10 men, they conceded late goals to Kevin Lisbie and Ben Chorley to leave Clark furious. "He (McCombe) has killed us," said Clark. "He will be fined the maximum and he will struggle to win his place back, whether he serves one or three matches. "You have to use your football brain and nous. Their lad was going down at the slightest touch but he has just thrown the lad to the ground stupidly. "That might be McCombe out of the team for a long time."
