Robins capture Scotland B starlet
Swindon have completed the signing of defender Scott Cuthbert from Celtic.
The 22-year-old Scotland B international failed to break into the first-team at Parkhead, but he has picked up experience in recent seasons with loan spells at Livingston and St Mirren.
Robins boss Danny Wilson feels the signing represents a major coup for the League One side and has tipped Cuthbert to make a major impact.
"In my opinion, Scott has a great career in front of him," he told the club's official website.
"He is just breaking into the full Scotland squad having played for the B team and it is great that we can sign someone of his calibre.
"He will bring us pace, enthusiasm and a commitment that you expect from defenders, and he likes to defend."
He added: "I hope the boys we have here can look at the signings we have brought in and work towards those standards."
