New Watford boss Oscar Garcia will not be raiding his former club Brighton for first-team coach Nathan Jones.

Garcia was unveiled as Beppe Sannino's replacement at Vicarage Road last week and is currently on the look-out for an assistant manager.

Jones was Garcia's number two at Brighton and stayed with the Seagulls following the 41-year-old's departure at the end of last season. He is currently first-team coach alongside new Albion manager Sami Hyypia.

Garcia has already brought in Ruben Martinez, who was his goalkeeping coach at Brighton, but when asked if Jones would be joining him in Hertfordshire, the Spaniard said: "No. He is doing a good job there and will not come here.

"We are trying to find the best people. It's not about the number of people, it's about finding the right people."
