Burnley and Millwall will both be hoping to land a double when the Sky Bet Championship's April awards are handed out.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche and Lions supremo Ian Holloway are among the four nominees for the Manager of the Month gong.
Meanwhile, their respective players - Turf Moor defender Jason Shackell and Den midfielder Nicky Bailey - are in the quartet of Player of the Month nominees.
Title-winning Leicester chief Nigel Pearson is also in contention for the manager award, along with Oscar Garcia who is chasing a play-off berth with Brighton.
Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan and Blackburn striker Rudy Gestede complete the shortlist for the player prize.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports' Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League head of communications John Nagle, League Managers' Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet head of football Paul Wiggins. The winners will be announced on the morning of Friday, May 2.
Here, Sky Sports considers more closely the managers in contention.
Sean Dyche (Burnley)
In perhaps his most impressive month of a stellar season, Dyche had to manage without influential players, instil belief in their replacements and stay calm as his Clarets side gained 13 points from six games to clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Ian Holloway (Millwall)
'Ollie' re-discovered his magic touch as Millwall went unbeaten throughout April. His side's gritty determination to avoid relegation was evident in a marvellous 10-point haul from four difficult away trips to Nottingham Forest, Wigan Athletic, Middlesbrough and QPR.
Nigel Pearson (Leicester)
Pearson finished off the task of leading Leicester to promotion and the Sky Bet Championship title in style. The former Southampton and Hull City boss kept a cool head to complement the ferocious drive he instilled in his players as they picked up 14 points from a possible 21 in April.
Oscar Garcia (Brighton)
Garcia guided his Seagulls side to the cusp of the play-off places with a seven-match unbeaten month. The highlight from this period was undoubtedly a 4-1 win at table-topping Leicester. A total of 14 goals in April exceeded the total for the rest of 2014 combined, with Albion impressing under the 41-year-old Spaniard's stewardship.
Sky Sports also takes a look at those in the mix to be named Player of the Month.
Jason Shackell (Burnley)
Shackell has not missed a minute all season and stood tall again as Burnley kept four clean sheets in six games to clinch promotion. A commanding presence as captain when opponents bombarded the box, the 30-year-old was immense in the 1-0 win at Blackpool.
Nicky Bailey (Millwall)
Bailey returned following a back injury and made an immense contribution to help Millwall move out of the relegation zone. The 29-year-old former Middlesbrough man reads the game to perfection, shields the back four, and his range of passing thrusts the team forward.
Adam Bogdan (Bolton)
Just three goals conceded in six games meant the Hungary international shot-stopper earned his side points with a string of impressive displays. A strong presence behind his defenders, the 26-year-old was particularly outstanding in the 1-0 win at Huddersfield Town.
Rudy Gestede (Blackburn)
Six goals from six starts for the Benin international forward, who showed he was back to match sharpness when he scored a hat-trick of headers in the 4-2 victory at Birmingham. A low 25-yard drive against QPR, and a clever flick against Ipswich to set up strike partner Jordan Rhodes, proved he was hot to handle.
