Sky Sports understands that Cardiff City have agreed a deal to sign Craig Noone from Championship rivals Brighton.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier on Wednesday, Cardiff had made a move for Noone, who has been a long-term target for Malky Mackay's men.
Noone travelled to Wales for talks and personal terms have been agreed and the former Liverpool youngster has passed a medical at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Noone joined the Seagulls from Plymouth Argyle 18 months ago and he has established himself as one of the best players in the Championship.
The 24-year-old only signed a new deal at Brighton last March, but Cardiff have managed to persuade the Seagulls to cash-in on the winger.
Noone is expected to sign a four-year deal at Cardiff to become Mackay's latest summer addition.
