Sky Sports understands Celtic have rejected an enquiry from Blackpool for Paddy McCourt.
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is a big admirer of McCourt and has been chasing his signature for some time.
Holloway is believed to have made an enquiry for McCourt as he looks to bolster his attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
Celtic have rebuffed Blackpool's overtures and informed them that the Northern Ireland international is not for sale.
The 28-year-old has continually found himself on the fringe of the Celtic's first team with the former Derry City man yet to make a start in the SPL, making ten appearances off the bench.
However, McCourt remains a part of Neil Lennon's plans at Parkhead and is keen to keep the skilful winger in Glasgow as they look to win the title this season.
