Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United are all chasing Brighton star Glenn Murray, skysports.com understands.
The 27-year-old striker is currently one of the top scorers in League One with 11 goals to his name already this season.
Murray joined Brighton in January 2008 when they paid more than a quarter of a million pounds for his signature.
However, his current deal is due to expire in the summer and skysports.com understands a host of clubs are now tracking his progress.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet has made it clear he does not want to lose any of his players, with the club currently sitting proudly on top of League One, but he could have his resolve tested.
Both Sheffield clubs - Wednesday and United - are keen, whilst Championship side Scunthorpe are also taking a close look.
