Oxford have strengthened their squad with the signing of Jake Wright on a free transfer from Brighton.
The 24-year-old, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Kassam Stadium last term, has signed a three-year contract.
Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas is thrilled to have secured his services on a permanent basis as the Us look forward to life back in the Football League.
He told the club's official website: "I think signing Jake is a fantastic deal for this football club. Jake was a major part of our Wembley success.
"He has experience at a higher level and I know he's very excited about coming to Oxford.
"It's also pleasing that the 12th Man (Fund) was able to push this deal over the line and help Jake to relocate to the Oxfordshire area."
Wright added: "I'm delighted to have signed. From the moment I arrived on loan I've been made to feel at home.
"The manager (Chris Wilder) and staff are first class and the lads have been great with me.
"We have a great team spirit and a great belief and I want to be part of that. The fans at Wembley were brilliant and this is where I want to play my football."
