Brighton & Hove Albion defender Adam El-Abd has been ruled out of action for six weeks.The defender was stretchered off against Gillingham on Saturday, amid fears he had broken his leg.
However, scans have now shown that the 20-year-old has only bruised ligaments in his ankle.
"We got the results back and they showed that Adam had just bruised ligaments in his ankle, so it will be about six weeks before we will have him back," Brighton boss Mark McGhee told the club's website.
