Lee Peltier has returned to Huddersfield and signed a three-year deal.

The 27-year-old defender left Leeds by mutual consent on Monday morning before being announced as Mark Robins latest recruit for the Terriers.

Peltier spent two years with Huddersfield between 2009 and 2011 before moving to Leicester.

Huddersfield manager Robins told the club's official website: "I don't need to tell Huddersfield Town fans about the qualities that Lee Peltier brings to the squad, but what I will say is that he's returning to the club a far better, more experienced, seasoned Championship player.

"Equally, I believe Lee is joining a Club that has taken massive strides forward since the day he left and I am sure that is something that he will say himself having been back and looked around last week."
