Sky Sports understands Huddersfield Town are in talks to sign forward Sean Scannell from Championship rivals Crystal Palace.
Scannell came through the ranks at Selhurst Park and he has scored 13 goals in 141 appearances for Palace since making his debut in late 2007.
He scored four times in 37 league outings last season and was rewarded with a new four-and-a-half year contract by the Eagles last September.
However, he could now be offered a move away from his only club after Huddersfield stepped up their interest in the 21-year-old.
Terriers boss Simon Grayson is looking to improve his attacking options following promotion from League One and has identified Scannell as a potential addition.
