Leeds midfielder Adam Clayton has rubbished speculation that he is ready to follow Jonny Howson out of the club.
Norwich rubber-stamped Howson's Carrow Road switch on Tuesday, with the former United skipper penning a three-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League outfit.
However, Clayton, 23, who has been tipped to follow his former central-midfield partner out of Elland Road, had strongly denied he is looking elsewhere and insists he future remains with Leeds.
"I've just read the same as what everyone has read that's all," he told the
club's official website.
"People will make of it what they want, but for me, my future's at Leeds United and hopefully for the foreseeable future."
Meanwhile, Robert Snodgrass insists the club must get on with their Championship campaign despite the imminent sale of Howson.
The Scotland international maintains that promotion remains a strong possibility and believes Simon Grayson's men must look forward to the rest of the season.

"It's your captain and you're disappointed when he leaves," he said.
"Jonny's been injured though, so he's been out for a few weeks now. We knew that and when one player gets injured you rally together. What happens, happens.
"We've got plenty of players who need to be ready when they're called upon and that's what this club is all about and I firmly believe that if we keep pushing forward, in the right direction, the fans, the backroom staff, the players, everybody, I think we will get there. Everyone can't go one way or another, we have to go in the same direction.
"You can't feel sorry for yourselves if you lose your captain. We have to roll our sleeves up and stand up and be counted. Nobody is going to give you three points or give you a football match. We'll wish Jonny all the best and he's been a great captain, but we're here at Leeds United."
