Midfielder looking to Swans tie

Wolves midfielder Adam Hammill says the club need a united front going into the weekend game against Swansea. Mick McCarthy's side fell to Black Country rivals West Brom on Sunday and their results have dipped in recent weeks. However, Hammill, 23, who started his first game of the season at the Hawthorns, is confident an upturn in form is just around the corner. "We're not going to jump on each other's backs after a few bad results but obviously we know we have to get better and have all taken on board the constructive criticism," he told the club's official website. "We know we need to play well to get the fans on board and everyone has to be united for Saturday's game. "The crowd have always got behind us at Molineux and if we can go out, start well and get the first goal it will make a big difference. "We understand it's down to us to get the result, but if we go out and play as we know we can then hopefully we can get the win which will kick-start our season." He added: "It is such a tight division that if we'd won on Sunday we'd have climbed several places in the table and the same thing will happen if we can beat Swansea. "We're only eight games in, there are still 30 to go, and even though no one wanted to lose five in a row there is still plenty of time for us to turn things around."
