City & Millwall told defender is not for sale
Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest have rebuffed enquiries from Bristol City and Millwall for Joel Lynch.
As revealed by skysports.com last week, Championship rivals Bristol City and Millwall were lining up moves for versatile defender Lynch.
Lynch has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Forest side this season and the Robins and Millwall were hoping to lure him away from the club.
However, Forest have informed City and Millwall that Lynch is not for sale as they look to keep hold of most of their squad for the start of next season.
Lynch joined Forest initially on loan from Brighton in 2008 before making the move permanent at the end of that season and he is highly regarded at the City Ground.
