Forest defender attracting interest

Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest defender Joel Lynch is a target for Championship rivals Bristol City and Millwall. The 23-year-old, who can play at centre-back and left-back, has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Forest side this season, making just 15 appearances. Lynch saw his first-team chances limited by the loan arrival of Paul Konchesky from Liverpool and he could be tempted by a move away in search of regular action. Bristol City and Millwall are both in the market for a new left-back and they have been keeping tabs on Lynch's situation at the City Ground. Lynch joined Forest initially on loan from Brighton in 2008 before making the move permanent at the end of that season and, although he is highly regarded at the club, he could be offloaded as Billy Davies looks to reshape his squad this summer.
