Huddersfield manager Lee Clark is confident Joey Gudjonsson will be fit to face Charlton on Saturday.
The Iceland international is set to return to training on Thursday after responding to treatment on a hamstring strain sustained in the 1-1 home draw with Peterborough on Saturday.
Clark said: "Joey can be a key player for us over the remaining matches. He was unfortunate not to be in the starting side against Peterborough and played his part while he was on the pitch."
Gudjonsson, 30, was a half-time replacement for Danny Ward at the Galpharm Stadium, but was forced off in the 77th minute.
Town follow up their visit to the capital with a trip to MK Dons on Good Friday as they look to sustain their League One promotion push.
