England Under-21's boss Stuart Pearce has seen his squad for their European Championship play-off against Romania hit by a trio of withdrawals.
Defender Micah Richards, goalkeeper Alex Smithies and full-back Kieran Gibbs have all dropped out of the 23-man party.
The trio have injuries and have returned to their respective clubs, Manchester City, Huddersfield Town and Arsenal for treatment.
Friday's first leg will be played at Norwich's Carrow Road ground, with the second leg taking place in Botosani next Tuesday as Pearce's men chase a place at next summer's finals in Denmark.
