Blackstock and Lynch sign for Championship club

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the captures of striker Dexter Blackstock and defender Joel Lynch. Blackstock has signed at the City Ground from Queens Park Rangers on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old, who scored two goals during a loan spell at Forest last season, is delighted to have returned on a permanent basis. He told the club's official website: "I'm very happy to be back. It's nice to see the lads, the manager and the staff again and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things.

"I enjoyed everything about my time with Forest last season. We were in the relegation zone and ended up surviving quite comfortably in the end and didn't lose in my time at the club. "I was really happy with the way things went. I've had a taste of what this club is all about and now I want more." Lynch, meanwhile, has agreed a three-year deal with Billy Davies' Forest and arrives from Brighton for a fee of £200,000. The 21-year-old, who also spent time on loan at Forest last campaign, can play at left-back and in the centre of defence.
