Duo leave Terriers

Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson has allowed two players to move on.

Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson has allowed two players to leave his Galpharm Stadium squad this week.

Defender John McCombe has joined League Two strugglers Torquay United on a month's loan after failing to make an impact with The Terriers this season.

The 20-year-old centre back arrives at Plainmoor just a day after The Gulls parted company with manager Leroy Rosenior, with former Exeter City boss John Cornforth now in temporary charge of the South Devon outfit.

Terriers striker Lee Fowler has also departed the League One outfit, with the former Coventry City hit-man sealing a permanent move to Nationwide Conference side Scarborough.

The 22-year-old has been on loan with The Seadogs since early November.
