Last year's beaten League Two play-off finalists Northampton will start their new campaign with a trip to York on August 3.
Aidy Boothroyd's men were blown away by an excellent first-half display by Bradford at Wembley and will bid to go one better this time around with their first home game coming against Football League newcomers Newport on August 10. The Cobblers will host Cheltenham, the team they defeated in the play-off semis, on October 26, exactly two months before they travel to Burton on Boxing Day. Chesterfield will travel to Sixfields on New Year's Day and Boothroyd's men also close out the season at home to Oxford on May 3.
